'It's like having a really beautiful aquarium and one day you have to put chlorax in it and kill it. It's really sad. ' But if no metaphor is to hand, he can sound rambling and abstruse. 'Everyone says, "Oh, you're in Canada you don't have massacres. " We've had quite a few massacres actually. Not that, like, for street cred you have to have massacres.

And so, he concluded, the rule of law and the public interest would depend upon the prosecutor who tempers zeal with human kindness, who seeks truth and not victims, who serves the law and not factional purposes, and who approaches his task with humility. Jacksons remarks came to mind in the last few weeks, as the power of prosecution and the dangers of its politicization returned to the headlines. In early May, the Justice Department concluded a three month internal investigation into the DOJs and FBIs handling of the investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, who had pleaded guilty in late 2017 to charges of lying to investigators about the details of a December 2016 phone conversation with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Flynns plea bargain occurred under the shadow of leaked reports that the DOJ could indict his son, too. But before proceedings concluded in the trial court, Flynn complained that he had been treated unfairly by prosecutors. In May 2020, the Justice Department finally agreed, filing a motion to erase Flynns guilty plea and dismiss the charges because the department concluded that it could no longer prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any false statement he made was material to a legitimate FBI investigation.

As students review the learning events that have taken place, they give their learning new meaning. The opportunity to share often validates a student's internal conversation. Here are suggestions for helping students develop the capacity for sharing their reflections: Sit in a circle. Ask each person to share one reflection on the day's activities. Organize small group reflections in which students share their thoughts. Then ask a reporter to present those thoughts to the whole class. Invite students to share problem solving strategies. Ask them to focus on how many different ways they can effectively solve a problem. Ask students to share at least one example in which they observed their group using the Habits of Mind. During these classroom experiences, teachers have an opportunity to model the Habits of Mind themselves. They can show evidence of good listening skills, probe for clarity and understanding, ask thoughtful questions, and share metacognitive thinking.

Which Box Honeysuckle is an evergreen shrub of medium growth, with dense foliage and extremely interesting asymmetrical form, when it remains unpruned. It has very small green leaves and also small creamy white flowers, which are aromatic. It grows for 45 to 60 days from May to June and produces small bluish black berries, which they especially attract the birds. Although Box Honeysuckle in its natural state, is found at high altitudes, it is planted without any problems at the low, to the level of the sea. And because it is highly tolerant to salt spray, it is successfully planted in coastal areas, as well as in gardens adjacent to or near the sea, in groups or in rows to create an average height or low height hedge. Still, this delightful natural informal shrub when remains unpruned, is planted in the slopes and gradients, since it has great tolerance to drought and a dense surface root system, it protects the soil from erosion just like her adorable cousin. It is a evergreen shrub with a beautiful deep green foliage and strikingly fragrant white to light pink flowers that give their place to, small sized, spherical bluish black berries. Its flowering is long lasting since it begins in early spring, in March, and ends at the end of the summer.
